from the looks of my last entry.. and the amount of time with no updated entries.. i made it look like i killed myself didnt i? haha sucks..
i dont even know why im awake at this hour.. must have been the starbucks i had earlier. so a lot has been going in my life.. most notably, obviously the band and school. ive started managing another band and ive also started becoming a booking agent for some bands just to earn some cash since im not working right now. nothing huge.. just booking some shows here and there and maybe some west coast tours if i can handle it. dear life is doing well.. been having some amazing local shows lately and seeing a lot of great response. hoping to get signed soon to at least a decent label and get some help from a real manager to sort of guide and represent us as we try to make a name for ourselves in this industry. we're setting to write, record, and release our debut full length for spring 2006 and plan on booking a full US summer tour for summer 2006.. so as you can see we've got big plans and no intentions of slowing down. wish us luck as we try to make 2006 our breakthrough year. i started the classes for my new major, music industry studies, this quarter and it seems pretty cool since im pretty into music management kinda stuff.. the more business end of it is kind of a drag but ill get over it. im pretty excited getting to know people in the music industry and hope i can get a head start on this career soon.. its seriously very exciting thinking about what i might be able to work on in the future. i also recently finally joined 24 hour fitness.. gotta get back into shape. and im dating again yay.. been a while but i noticed im a lot better at "the game" so to speak than i used to be.. which is good. been playing a lot of acoustic guitar and writing music.. both indie rock and hardcore. i dont know what i would do without music.. its wonderful. also been messing around recording some stuff with matt siordia at his place trying to get some thing going with an indie rock side project.. all i gotta say is watch out for some catchy songs coming sometime soon. theres been a lot of nhl 2k6 action lately as well.. fun times. ummm i dont know what else to tell you.. and im getting tired now.
going to the kings game on tuesday with the guys.. yesssssssssss.

MY MINDLESS JIBBER JABBER.
so this past night was spent as follows..
stayed up watching the movie PLEASANTVILLE until about 4am.. which happens to be a really great movie.. i never had the chance to finish it until last night so i did. i liked it a lot. lots of hidden meaning in it. good stuff.
and then i spent the entire night tossing and turning with about 539458398 things going on in my head.. i dont know why.. i just had an active mind.. not to mention i was sick. so i couldnt sleep at all. i got like an hour tops. then around 9am i decided to not fight it and just stay up and get shit done. so i did.
then around 10 made some breakfast for myself and what do you know.. GOONIES is on. i havent seen this movie in so long. its seriously so fucking good. i love that movie to death. oh man. still makes me laugh out loud. fucking Data.. asian fob wiz kid.
took care of a bunch of stuff for the band with mikey t.. then went to brea. fuck that place. too rich for my blood. and fuck the new apple store for not having my ipod's case yet! bitches! that whole place just didnt make me feel like i fit in.. dang.
i saw a really beautiful guitar at the GC in brea.. it was like a natural wood finish style of look.. and it was a Gibson.. it was stunning.. and on sale for $900.. lol sigh.
im really enjoy gatorade right now. and sports drinks. powerade. what have you.
i do enjoy having my entire library of music with me at all times though. yay ipod<3
fucking kings.. get back on track.
finals next week.. whatever. im gonna call this fall quarter the "it was one of those quarters" quarter.. you know?

not having such a great day.. im getting really sick. and the kings lost to the wings.
nothing like a huge throbbing headache and your hometeam losing to make you feel down.
i think my brain is trying to get out.
not to mention this fever and never ending coughs.
at least im getting my new ipod this week in the mail.
its a brand new 30gb black video ipod.
im pretty excited.
had a cool weekend. been hanging out a lot with justin, brian, and the DSB guys. never a dull moment with them.
such great times. good show on saturday too. it was more like a turning point in our band's career.
for the first time, we finally felt like we had a very strong hometown fan base.. and it really showed.

we also just finished putting together all 61 promo packs for record labels and important people in the music industry.
wish us luck as we send them out and hope for the best.
me and matt are starting our own little t-shirt/screen printing venture. hopefull this goes well.
i am currently hating this quarter and am not looking forward to seeing my grades and gpa. its not going to be pretty.
cant wait for winter break and winter quarter. i get to start classes in my new major.
sigh.
